I don't make resolutions, but I do have some goals for this year.

1. Read my Bible everyday

2. Spend more time with kids doing fun stuff--painting, running, playing

3. Spend less time on the computer

4. Work out three times a week

5. In the warmer months, get the kids outside at least five times a week, rain or shine

6. Appreciate my girls more

7. Keep a cleaner house

As long as the less time on your computer doesn't inhibit your LJing, I'm cool with that. ;o)

Seriously though, I need to have the same goal. Isaac and I have gotten so we spend every evening on the computer while watching TV. But at least we have started doing devotions together for the first time in years!

I'm working on keeping a cleaner house too. We'll see how long it lasts. But I have had the kitchen very clean for about a week now. I've been trying to do the dishes at least every other day, since our dishwasher died, so I don't have to have them pile up and do them for half an hour.

Ha! I'm sure it won't.

I started being better about the dishes when Ginny was here. I didn't want her to think I was lazy, hehe. So every night, I load the dishwasher and most nights do the leftover dishes. Now I just need to keep the living room straightened up. Why is it difficult for me to keep such a little apartment clean? :P

I can't wait till one day when we can afford to redo our kitchen and make room in the cabinets for a real dishwasher. But that would be in the very distant future, unless we somehow become independently wealthy. =o/

I don't know - why is it so difficult for me to keep such a little house clean? And we don't even have kids as an excuse! I think I need more organizer things, 'cause my CVS stuff is just kind of everywhere. Also, I cannot get Isaac to hang up his jacket and put his stuff away when he comes home from work. Ah, well. As the saying goes, "A clean house is the sign of a wasted life." I embrace that philosophy wholeheartedly. ;o)

I keep waiting for some long-lost (and previously unknown) uncle or grandfather dies so I can be rich!

Same here! Although, then I'd have to split the inheritance with my 3 brothers, so he'd have to be darn rich. Hehe. Darn it, if only The Amazing Race would accept us. Do you know what I could do with $650K? (They give you a million bucks, but after taxes...) We could do everything we want to our house (including own it outright), adopt as many kids as we want, travel wherever we want and stay in real hotels... etc. *sigh*

Yay for having only one brother! And yes, I'm quite aware of what can be done with half a million dollars. A LOT. Oh well, no one said we couldn't dream, right?

Thanks. I've been doing better, but I need to work harder on accomplishing them.
