I am not depressed. Let me make that perfectly clear. But I have been depressed, and I have had these feelings. This woman captured what it feels like perfectly. It really is like a sneeze.

Alanna and I were talking about this exact thing yesterday. I think anyone who's been depressed, or through a really dark time, understands that no one DECIDES to kill themselves. They just get to a point where they can't go on living. People saying callous things about this kind of stuff must not have been there themselves. I'm 99.9% certain I would never actually harm myself, but I totally understand being bone-weary of the pain of life.
